To be honest, taking the long route and learning lua is better than paying a random guy on the other side of the planet to do all your work. Eventually, you'll end up either getting rid of him, or falling out with him. Then you have to problem of who 'owns' the script - the person who paid for them or the person who made them. That's just one example, but yeah, take the time to learn lua.

Indeed, probably both are the owners and can do whatever they like with it (because in the end, they both benefit)
