MTA Crash (Unknown Software Exception)

Basically, I don't know what is causing it, it cannot be any mods because my SAMP works perfectly fine. Any ideas?

Please remove the compatibility mode setting for gta_sa.exe (run in 640x480) and try again.

Just removed that, no luck..

I still get the same software exception.

Please install the following:

• Graphics driver
  
• Audio driver
  
• Ethernet driver (do a Repair install if prompted)
  
• Optical drive firmware
  
• Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes

Provide another MTADiag log after installing.

Singleplayer MTA or the stock game?

It hasn't I recently installed it for the first time and tried the map editor.

Well, Do you have any mods on your GTA?

Try deleting your gta_sa.set located in your GTA SA User Files folder.

I do have mods but SAMP works and deleting the .set didnt work either.

then tell me if it worked

Is there a way I can install it to a different directory and have two versions per say?

ya, you could have one unmodified GTA then download MTA for that,

then have one modified and a downloaded MTA for it.

BTW, this would take up a huge space on your computer.

Yeah, don't worry about that ^^ Is there a way to install it to a different directory? Because the version I have will only let me install it to this one.
