Buying a Laptop - How will be my GTA SA experience?

Hey all,

So I'm looking forward to buying this new Toshiba Satellite C Series C665-P5012 Laptop ( picture below ), it's a pretty cheap one ( around $353.2 ) and I am basically buying this to be able to play MTA San Andreas with my brother, as of now we both share the same PC which is a pain in the ass. So, I wanted to know how will be my gaming experience with this laptop on older games such as GTA Vice City/San Andreas, Tomb Raider 4/5 etc.

It's specifications are:

Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core P6200 ( 2.13 GHz )

Graphic Card: Intel HD Graphics

RAM: 2 GB ( Expandable upto 8 GB )

Hard Disk Capacity: 320 GB

OS: None ( Going to install Windows XP once delivered )

Any form of feedback would be greatly appreciated!

It will run acceptably. Intel HD Graphics isn't awful as previous integrated graphics implementations were.

Nice to hear that! Although, what is your definition of 'acceptably'? 30-40 FPS or 20-30 FPS rendering?

Intel HD will run just about 15 - 25 FPS at low settings.

Intel HD is good for browsing but when it comes to gaming it is utter sh*te

Well yea, I've been told that the performance is pretty low but still even if I am able to get 20-30 FPS due to the RAM and processor playing their role, I'll be one happy man.

I searched a bit on flipkart.com and I found some ASUS Laptops in my budget and they have dedicated graphics, as someone told me they would be much better. Give me your reviews on these:

Those laptops are good for gaming, but still their cores are not that great..

I actually compared the specifications of both the Laptops on Game-Debate, and to my surprise the Toshiba turned out to be performing better than any of those Asus ones with GTA San Andreas.

Why not just buy a Computer instead of a Laptop because the FPS are limited on some Laptops like mine.

The rate at which technology is developing, laptops will start to be pushed aside in favor for these new tablets such as the iPad in the years to come.

SA will be fine with that laptop.

Really? I use Intel HD and it's fine for me. The only thing that lets my computer down is its processor (Dual 1.5GHz).

Let's just say my computers worse, and it runs fine (except from when there's smoke on screen). You should be safe with it.
