Probably that is Unicode.. Your Computer can't read this kind of language ( Russian i think ) so it output it as Unicode.

In my language we have ñ, ç, á, é, í, ó, ú, ï, ü, ö, à, è.

So likely that isn't Spanish but some Unicode as Slifer said.
