My client will not open

So I've been playing MTA since 1.1 and after I updated to 1.3 I've had some weird issues. When I launch the game, it goes to the launching screen with the moto "Stop playing with yourself" and it stays on that screen. Most of the time it changes my color scheme, but I changed my color scheme to windows 7 basic (Which it sets to). When I end the task and when I do it completely screws up my computer, making everything slow and unresponsive. I've restarted my computer maybe 10 times in the last two days because of the issues with MTA. I can't even launch GTA San Andreas using gta_sa.exe. I've deleted gta_old_sa.set (I didn't have gta_sa.set in my user files). Sometimes when I go into task manager, I end the task for MTA under processes, and theres a GTA_SA.exe with no description or user, and I'm unable to close it. Please get back to me soon with a way to fix these issues.

Is your GTA, by any chance a crack?

Also, try to delete the gta_sa.set file located at My Documents (Documents on Windows Vista and 7 users)/GTA San Andreas User Files.

My GTA Isn't a crack necessarily, I am just using a no-CD file, I had the CD and installed it onto this computer before the disk broke, so I decided to download a no-CD so I could still play. Also, I deleted gta_sa.set before I posted on the forums.

Why do you have McAfee, Avast and AVG antiviruses installed? Pick one, the rest just slow your system to a crawl due to multiple file system filters trying to scan files all at once.

I was using avg for awhile, then figured out it wasn't catching any viruses what so ever, so I moved on to grab another antivirus (Avast) and I now use that, AVG is completely disabled, but I'm unable to uninstall it

AVG isn't completely disabled as far as I can tell. You still have its processes running. Try using AVG Remover.

YES FINALLY!, It was AVG that was forcing the programs to not work. I just tried to launch MTA, and it launched successfully, my computer might be a bit faster too, thanks!
