TonyMontana126 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 ok I have the game GTA Vice City, and was wanting to download a multiplayer for it. If I download it, could it mess up MTA:SA? I hope not . Here is the link. http://vicecitymultiplayer.com/?a=download I just wanted to know
0 AGENT_STEELMEAT Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Ehm, no, MTA:SA is for San Andreas, and is totally independent of your San Andreas installation directory anyway. So of course VCMP won't mess is up.
0 Towncivilian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Correct, you will have no problems running any other multiplayer mod. You can run SA:MP and MTA:SA in the same GTA:SA installation (as far as I know), and you can definitely run VC:MP and MTA:VC in the same installation of GTA:VC. Have problems running MTA or are experiencing crashes? See this thread for help!
0 TonyMontana126 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 So SAMP wont mess up MTA:SA?
0 Towncivilian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Not at all. Install both to your heart's desire and sleep well at night. Have problems running MTA or are experiencing crashes? See this thread for help!
0 TonyMontana126 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 Not at all. Install both to your heart's desire and sleep well at night. just worried cause last time i installed another mod when i had MTA is,.. well it was called SAMI, a mod software to install car mods and stuff onto my GTA:SA game, it didnt mess up my GTA but it messed up my MTA, I was just concerned thats all.
0 Towncivilian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 A valid concern. When running multiplayer mods, it is strongly advised to avoid any sort of modifications to the single-player game, such as car mods. Have problems running MTA or are experiencing crashes? See this thread for help!
0 TonyMontana126 Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 And OF COURSE SAMP is safe program, doesn't contain viruses or anything harmful i hope. cause im new and I never tried samp before.
0 Towncivilian Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 It should be fine as long as you download it from the SA-MP site. Have problems running MTA or are experiencing crashes? See this thread for help!
0 Spanish4Life Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 WTF are you doing, Townciilian?! Don't announce competency! Anways, It willn't break anything unless you put so much mods. We don't hate SA-MP, at least for me, it's just another multiplayer modification who has more players and less features. "Everything exists, because otherwise nothing would", Bob Marley, 2015.
0 World Championship Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 It should be fine as long as you download it from the SA-MP site. I find this reply so cute...
0 diegofkda Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Ah guys... you two sound like MTA fanboys saying "SAMP SUCkS SAMP SUCkS SAMP SUCkS" (no offense, I hadn't another expression), I don't want an addicted community, I want a community conformist, happy of their amazing project and not look into the competence, that's really my opinion which I've been saying thousands of times.
