Water Shader in Single Player?

I'm not sure if I've posted in the right place. If I have sorry. I was wondering if it was possible getting this to work in normal Single Player? If it is possible I'm presuming it's not easy, but what would be involved? I'm a noob in this kinda thing but just wanted to ask about this. Thanks for any answers.
