  1. Thanks for the help but I've fixed the problem. What I did was delete d3dx9_42.dll from both System32 & SysWOW64, ran dxwebsetup.exe again, restarted the laptop and MTA is working fine. Thanks to everyone.
  2. That didn't work, still getting the same error.
  3. Everytime I start MTA SA v1.3, I get the loading screen 'Don't play with yourself' and then this 'Entry Point Not Found' error. I have also deleted gta_sa.set and still get this error. Single Player works fine. 4. I'm not sure if I've posted in the right place. If I have sorry. I was wondering if it was possible getting this to work in normal Single Player? If it is possible I'm presuming it's not easy, but what would be involved? I'm a noob in this kinda thing but just wanted to ask about this. Thanks for any answers. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Shader_examples
  5. I was wondering if anybody other than me would like to see the Normal Map plugin implemented in the next version of MTA? It's a plugin by Ryosuke839 that enables better lighting on peds as well as apply normal maps for them too. I've got the source code here: http://www.mediafire.com/?c4czk0v774ispew I don't think a lot of users are interested in something like this being implemented into MTA, but I would like to see it included if it's remotely possible. I would post a link to the page of his NormalMap plugin but the site is having problems at the moment.
  6. Using 1.7, the only time I ever get a slowdown/crash is when I'm driving around in Las Venturas. Everywhere else I have never had a crash. I simply just copied and pasted my really modded gta3.img (which I use to take enb screenshots) into the game I used for MTA. I was suprised at how stable it was, played for a good hour until I decided to venture into Las Venturas....the game as usual stopped rendering but strangely enough it didn't crash. Could still go around a messed up Las Venturas unlike in SAMP where it just freezes. Yes I'm using ENB, a very low setting enb as I didnt want anything fancy to ruin the fps. With just srt1.7, MTA will be really stable and won't have any problems!
  7. Glad the team added Sacky's Limit Adjuster into MTA! Been waiting for this feature for a long time. Tried the latest Nightly Build out along with SRT1.7 and Project Oblivion 2010 and it ran quite well and stable, the only problem was the sudden drop in fps at random times which I used to get in the previous MTA build, and that was default SA back then. Thumbs up to the team!
  8. Another option of how to get the source code is to ask Ashcratt as he's been making SA Limit Adjuster 2 for the next version of GTA United. There was a download link for the source code on his site before it was taken down. Worth a shot to ask him for the source code. EDIT I luckily had a copy of the source code for the Limit Adjuster backed up on a cd from years ago. Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?tmigdrpopa0pwlt
