help whit remove || {} [] from name

end

Try using string.find(name,"|",0,true) instead. Will search for "|" but no need to escape it, as the fourth argument means the string won't be formatted by reggex.

Also I'd use this:

string.gsub(name,"%W","") 

remove anything else than alphanumeric stuff.
