MTA on a USB Stick?

Hey guys,

Alright.. so after searching a lot on the internet and with no answers found, I've decided to ask this question here in hope that some of you guys might be able to help me out.

Basically what I want to know is if there's a way I am able to play Multi Theft Auto off of a USB stick on a computer that really only has a Guest Account. Now I do have access to a computer with Admin rights I'm just not able to play my games and such off there. I already know you can play GTA SA off of a USB stick.. however when I try to boot up MTA I get an error that the Registry key is not present. Is there any way around this... and ANYTHING I might be able to do in order to allow myself to play off usb stick?

I think you get the registry key error because GTA SA isn't really installed on the computer. Therefore, it doesn't get written into regedit or whatever.

Alot of games cracked will work on copy/paste without installing and gta is in the bunch.

I have had my GTA installation from last year, (nocd crack) and works perfectly on all systems and other computers without errors. I have tested 1.0.4 and SA on a hard drive, i guuess 1.1 works too.

Yeah.. I mean like I know you can play GTA SA Off of a USB stick for sure.. now the probelm is just getting MTA to work. I guess your right.. that since its not actually stalled there is no registry.. but is there a way to.. add the registry in myself or not even have to on a Windows 7 OS?

Its actually a Public Library Computer.. (I don't have my own anymore.. and yes I know i'm desperate to play)

Any ideas or suggestions would be GREAT guys!

MTA works on my drive on any computer for me. Hold shift when mta starts, something should appear.

Didn't work.. but also what kind of drive are you talking about... like one of those large portable ones? Cause if so.. don't those have a "registry" or whatever built in? A USB stick wouldn't right.. and MTA Needs that? Lol..
