Like on cod2mod, the minigun sticks to the player (client side because others can't see it) and is on them wherever they run? (p.s. it doesn't happen on the OFFICIAL cod2mod..) How it should work is you go up to the mounted minigun and press f. When you press f it gives you like 100 minigun ammo (but the mounted minigun doesn't move) and you can move within like a 1 foot range in any side, to act as if your using the mounted minigun. To sum it up, when you go up to a minigun and press f it's suppose to give you about 100 ammo of minigun and not let you move around more than like 1 foot to simulate like you are using a mounted minigun. The original object minigun isn't suppose to move or anything, it's just there for show and realism but the problem is when a player presses f on the minigun, the object sticks to them (client side because everyone else sees the minigun still on the ground) until they relog.
