MTA crashes on game entry

Hi, my MTA crashes when i connect to a server and the 'entering game' message appears. I have uninstalled MTA and reinstalled it several times and i have even done this to GTA SA. but still it won't start. what could be wrong?

Can you post the DX Dialog please:

1. Press the Windows key + R

2. Type dxdiag and press Enter; if a dialog box pops up asking you to check for WHQL digital signatures, click Yes

3. Click Save all information...

4. Include the contents of the saved log in your topic within
tags.

Graphics driver
Chipset driver
Ethernet driver (do a Repair install if prompted)
Latest DirectX runtimes

This issue has been dragging on too long it seems. Try some other potential suggestions.

- Check your anti-virus settings. Sometimes these programs can block meaningless network activities. Considering your crash happens when you are entering a server - it might be worth looking into. Whilst MTA is not a virus - some anti-virus recognise it as a threat. I know in the past Symantec were an issue.

- Right click on both the GTA.exe and MTA.exe and ensure that both compatibility settings are set to default.

- Remove any single player modifications - if any.

just re-installed GTA and MTA and chaned firewall settings and it still doesn't work. in the error it says something about a file called netc.dll. does it matter if my GTASA is registered or not?

I don't think this will solve your problem, but try to go to MTA:SA directory/mods/deathmatch/resources and try to delete all folders there.

Ok, i got MTA working again, but I have a brand new pc. It was working but all of a sudden i get a similar error. the error reads: "The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occured in the application at location 0x7209ccb5"
