WallMart
Hello there peoples, Recently i've found a bug (i think) in MTA that makes the map editor crash when i try to save or load a map. Reinstalling had no use, it keeps crashing on me. Now my first thought was that the map maker loads a corrupt map, but i forgot which one i opened last, and i really like to keep them. If my thoughts are right, how can i check in a easy way which map is corrupt? Greets, WallMart EDIT: even after deleting the suspected corrupt maps the editor still doesn't work. Link to comment
0 Arran
If MTA is actually crashing then thats out of the scope of the map editor. Submit a report here: http://bugs.mtasa.com/ including the crash dump file in your MTA folder Link to comment
0 WallMart
well, i found more about this glitch/bug: when you try to save, the game doesnt actually 'hang', just the saving part. so the saving gets stuck and you can still use the map editor(testing, placing objects, spawns etc) i'm really clueless of what to do, i dont think this happens because i've got one or more corrupt maps. 0 Arran
Maybe there is an error during the save process. Do /debugscript 3 and then screenshot any errors that might popup when you do save. Link to comment
