to those that edit with premiere

what export settings should i use for people to download a video? i will use virtual dub to compress the file down further to make it small enough to download. thanks

i would say avi or wmv practically everyone has the codecs fo it.

ok i exported a minute of a video and it looked and sounded like total crap and it was 40mb.

ok yu an try mpeg then if yu want PM me then ill send yu dr divx so yu can compress the mpeg to half size with no difference in quality.

i'm doing microsoft avi and my compressor choices are-

cinepak codec

divx pro 5.0.5- also what should the encoding bitrate be? ( i only get audio when i try to watch it and i downloaded divx 5.05)

intel video

microsoft video 1

so out of these which should i use

Ok now since yur doin avi i stongly recconmend yu use dr divx to compress yu can ajust bitrate sound and quality of the video file PM me yur email and i will send it to yu.

wait also i have in export - windows media 8 or 9 with about 40 varieties like 256k download etc

and mpeg 1 and mpeg 2, quicktime and real media

when i do mpeg 1 i get video but no audio on the export, i'll see what i can do to fix it

ok it renders out an audio file and a video file seperatly? is it supposed to do this?
