Just bought the game last night, I have a few questions.

I just bought this game yesterday after seeing how much fun multiplayer looked on Youtube. I just have some questions before my game gets here.

1. About how many people are online on any given night?

2. Do I still go http://www.sa-mp.com/download.php to get the patch for online, or is there a new one?

That's about it. I am really looking forward to playing this game online. Looks like a lot of fun.

San Andreas: Multiplayer is something DIFFERENT than Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Well - both of them are giving you a chance to play GTA in multi, but they are not related to each other.

You are now on Multi Theft Auto forums.

Multi Theft Auto have WAY MORE features, have better synchronization and well - it's just better (check out our main page).

Also - you may or may not be able to play with version you have bought (where do you live?).

This topic contains informations about patching. If you can't get it to work - feel free to post new topic in Client Support section - we will try everything to help you.

As for question one:

I don't know what time is "night" for you. MTA is played all over the world, so when one half of players are sleeping - second half is playing!

So there always should be some servers to play.

'Last night' maybe you're referring to the Steam sales (75% off all GTA classics).

Please see I have the steam version of GTA San Andreas on the wiki FAQ for information to get it working (if you bought it on Steam)

I heard the Steam version of GTA:SA has a hard time with multiplayer, so I got the hard copy version.

there is no problem with Steam if you got good fixed exe. I've bought SA on Steam and it's working.
