Custom models info needed

i have a question about custom models, here ya go;

ok, the handling.cfg is just to edit the speed, weith, thing like that, so... do i need to edit them to the model work fine in-game? becouse i dwd a very nice model of a Ducati Supersport 1000DS but i dont like to mutch the handling of this model =\ i love the pcj600 handling so if i put the same pcj600 handling on the custom model, the model will work fine?
