Carbonik Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Hi i have modshop by 50p and my server with database. How i can save my tuning cars in database or .xml ? Problem: i cant save tuning cars.
Castillo Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 wtf do you mean? 50p mod shop dosn't has anything to save if i'm right, you got to build this by your own.
Carbonik Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 far as I know these forums is to help and did not help me in any way i do not need your message if you are not going to help me
Castillo Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 this is a helping forum but you are asking us to make the script for you which is not going to happend.
Carbonik Posted October 28, 2010 Author Posted October 28, 2010 And you can't give me function's? .... just poking a posts
dzek (varez) Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 yup, we like to help, we don't like to do whole job for you. Solid clearly explained - Mod Shop has NOTHING to do with saving tunings. You need to write some kind of tuning save system (as i havent seen any on community yet).

dzek (varez) Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 But you still don't get it. Well, you should use too: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/OnVehicleEnter https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/OnVehicleExit Or https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/OnVehicleStartEnter https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/OnVehicleStartExit
dzek (varez) Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 saving tunings on car exit? wtf? i see no sense in this
12p Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 If player get his MTA crashed and onPlayerQuit event didnt get processed? Maybe useful for that.
dzek (varez) Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 but onPlayerQuit is triggered on player disconnect because of time-out !
12p Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Then, why did I had problems with onPlayerQuit when I just got timed out (with save script)?
50p Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 modshop resource provides custom event onVehicleMod. You can save the vehicle data after player modified it. You want to save the vehicle mods not player's car and its mods, do you? There is an example in the server.lua (right at the bottom of the file) to show you how it works.
Carbonik Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Thank's all i make it and perfect save in mysql
