Puma
Ohai, This is a ready-to-use, very clear script for the people that want to include custom models/txd's in their maps/resources, but don't know how to make a script that does so. Download is at the bottom of this post, the script itself can be seen by clicking this link: http://pastebin.com/syrDhns0 Just save the script (see attachments of this post) in the folder of a resource (map, for example), change the content a bit (info about how to do so, is writtin in the script) and add the script in the "meta.xml", located in the folder of that resource, by adding this line in "meta.xml": Don't forget to add the .dff-, .txd- and .col-files in "meta.xml", otherwise the script won't work (see script for more info). Download available from my site (lame mta download shizzle is offline): http://www.pumastudios.nl/replacemodels.rar !!NOTE: All files can be editted using NotePad. Hope it's useful , good luck with it. *maybe some moderator could make this topic a sticky one?* Link to comment

dzek (varez)
Also check out my multi theft auto tools site - including wizard for replacing vehicles textures and models, mass elements mover.. and it's all for know. If you have any ideas what else can I do -tell me. Link to comment
eAi
As you can add extra information to the meta.xml, perhaps you could use that to specify the replacements? Link to comment
dzek (varez)
yup, editing only meta.xml will be easier. I'll add ped and objects replacing to my site, as an alternative. ive got around 5 "uses" of my site per day, which makes it my most successful site Link to comment
Puma
Lol, last time I contacted my host he told me that I had around 200 visitors a day, but it's a mistery how I succeeded in that . I'll see about the meta.xml-thing, as I'm too lazy for it atm. Link to comment
dzek (varez)
Idk about my visitors count as I'm not tracking it, just the resource generations per day. You are well-known now, with your cool Mario Kart gamemode Link to comment
Puma
You haven't seen anything of me yet http://www.PumaStudios.nl, got almost 500k downloads at GTAInside.de and GTAGarage together :'). Link to comment

Puma
I'm just waiting for someone who creates the ability to replace ped models (playerskins). That'd be madness . Link to comment
Faw[Ful]
you will give a live to mario mwou ha ha ha !!! hey map mass mover it something that all (3/4 maybe) the game editor have to move many objects thats what MTA map editor need ! Link to comment
Puma
Yeah well it'd be great if you could select multiple elements (markers, objects, vehicles, spawnpoints, pickups) while holding CTRL for example, like selecting files or icons in a folder using Windows Explorer or on your desktop. And then use CTRL+A to select all elements at once. Link to comment
dzek (varez)
hmm, i think moving 1000 elements will kill your pc. moving it once is not a problem, but moving it smoothly with your mouse? omg Link to comment
