I installed MTA in Ubuntu thereby getting the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable installed in Ubuntu. I also put the tahoma.ttf tahomabd.ttf and verdana.ttf fonts in the wine windows\fonts folder. I had problems getting it to work perhaps because I tried to run as root where i should have run as logget in user, or because of minor wine update. It is great that more and more works on Ubuntu.
