Cool-Smurf
I've been having trouble accessing the MTA wiki page recently. By recently, I mean for the past few weeks. I have been using the cached copies of pages within the wiki, though that only takes me so far. I'm attempting to learn how to script, and I'm constantly being met with brick walls. With that said, I have also tried to use the MTA IRC channel to seek help; however, my connections have been constantly refused. I'm at a loss... Is there anyone around who may be able to shed some light on this? I'd appreciate it. (Yes, I've searched for solutions on the forum, and through google. Perhaps I just didn't look hard enough before I posted, but after 2 hours a night for the past few days, I'm done trying to figure this out on my own) Link to comment
dzek (varez)
Light on what? Lua scripting? You can use (bit bugged and not very comfortable) offline version of our wiki, check this topic: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=29330 Link to comment
Towncivilian
The wiki is back up. Also, irc.multitheftauto.com is still down, so connect using irc.gtanet.com. Link to comment

Cool-Smurf
Thank you for the replies. I attempted to use the wiki, and it informed me it was connecting me to the wiki, however it sends me to the MTA homepage. Until I understand what I'm possibly doing wrong, I'll look into the offline version. Link to comment
MTA Team jhxp Posted October 10, 2010 MTA Team Share Posted October 10, 2010 You are not doing anything wrong. https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=29162&start=15#p322941 As of now, the wiki is really unstable and crashes the webserver a lot, so we are trying to find out why is that. Until we fix it, it might be offline now and then, though as you mentioned, you can still resort to the offline version. Link to comment
Cool-Smurf
Glad to hear it's not me! I'll use the offline version until the issue is fixed. I wish you all luck, and thanks again for the quick answers! I really appreciate it. Link to comment
