izstas Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 I'm using custom MTA elements for some data that used only on server - for example, I have map file where I defined the list of camera matrixes that used when player joins, on server side. Is it rationally or not? Will MTA client receive all elements, including redundant on client side? Link to comment
dzek (varez) Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 maps are not saved on client, but theyre transferred to them (somehow it should be possible to copy it then btw). use server-side xml file to save such things as camera matrixes - 100% no transfer to client = protection + less bandwitdh usage Link to comment
DiSaMe Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 You can make elements invisible to clients with setElementVisibleTo, but AFAIK, there's some bug which makes this function don't work on custom elements. Link to comment
