0 dzek (varez)
Did you forward all needed ports correctly? Did you set up external http download server? Is settings fine? Maybe you disabled internal http server? Maybe something is already listening on that ports? Are you getting any errors in console? What OS is running on server machine? Is it your own PC? Post your mtaserver.conf file. Link to comment

0 Jamie_Mews
i have forwarded the ports correctly im not sure what you mean by external http download when i sent them the files to put in the mods/deathmatch/resoucres folder, it worked okay, but they cant download when they connect, how can i let them download my resources Link to comment
0 dzek (varez)
You need to forward these ports: 22003, 22005, 22126. Tell us your router model if you need help with this (or simply search google) Link to comment
0 Jamie_Mews
i have done all that and done what it says, i can host the server fine. its just they cant download resources from me for my server edit: http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... A_R1.0.htm i have done that and opened port 22005 Edit by varez: Merged your posts. Link to comment
0 dzek (varez)
This guide is for MTASA: Race (outdated) btw. But if you can run server and forwarded 22005 - everything should be fine. Try to install MTA to another directory (do not overwrite actual) and run clean, empty server. edit: And please do not make double posts. Use edit button next time. Thanks. Link to comment
0 callum123
Does the protocol for opening the ports still have to be the same as on that website Jamie_Mews posted? UDP first then TCP Because I am having the exact same problem Link to comment
0 dzek (varez)
yup, udp. ports should be these one you set up for server (like 22003), internal http server for resources (like 22005) and server+123 (like 22003 + 123 = 22126) for game-monitor to list your server. Link to comment
0 callum123
I have opened the ports exactly what Jamie_Mews has done, and also forwarded port 22005. Does it matter about having a static IP? When I search my server, it does not appear in the server browser, I have to manually tell my friends my IP for them to be able to join, and they still cannot download resources. My friends also cannot see my server in the lists. Link to comment
0 dzek (varez)
and also forwarded port 22005. well, it all depends on your configuration. Does it matter about having a static IP? generally - no. but keep reading. When I search my server, it does not appear in the server browser, I have to manually tell my friends my IP for them to be able to join, and they still cannot download resources. My friends also cannot see my server in the lists. Game-monitor requires server to be available (online) for few hours. If you shut it down - they won't accept you. Keep your server online at least 24h. About dynamic/static IP - every time you change IP - game monitor needs another 24h to show your server. So it's better to avoid changing IP. If you forwarded ports correctly - just wait.. Link to comment
