Variable Question...

This is a quick question that I couldn't find a... quick... answer to.

Can variable be access outside the .lua it's originally located in?

I am loading from a MySQL Database into a Variable, and want to use that variable in another .lua (in the same resource)

should be if files are loaded in right order.. but i wouldn't recommend it anyway..

but its faster to create:

1.lua

variable = "my value"

2.lua

outputChatBox(variable)

and run it than asking on forums and waiting hours to reply

The variable has to be on the same side. You can't access variable from server-side script in a client-side script but you can access the client-side variable in another client-side script.
