Good night, guys, I have a problem when Launching the MTA, when "Stop playing with yourself" starts, after 2-3 seconds I hear a Windows error sound, it doesn't start, and it doesn't tell me what is the error, I have not mods installed, and I have searched for this error, but I didn't find the solution.

Yes, SA:MP works, and GTA_SA.EXE Works too.

Update your DirectX runtimes and try deleting D3DX9_42.dll in the \MTA\ folder of Multi Theft Auto. If that doesn't work, try deleting gta_sa.set in the "GTA San Andreas User Files" directory in your "My Documents" folder.

What is your OS and video card?

I updated, there is no D3DX9_42.dll in the MTA folder, and there isn't any gta_sa.set in the GTA San Andreas User Files.

I think it's because I dont have the version 1.0, but the downgraders doesn't work.

You need GTASA 1.0 for MTASA to work properly.

When I use a downgrader, it says "unknow gta_sa.exe version"

Edit: Will it work with San Andreas limited edition?

I believe SA Limited Edition is >1.0.

What edition and language of GTA:SA do you own?
