RevengeBE
Hey there, I had a MTA server hosted somewere, But because of that crappy hosting, we needed to change our "location" Becaus of lack of money (Nobody wants to pay for it), I've decided to do "home-hosting" Tough, i'm from belguim, and they've got crappy networks.. I've got a good one, so i can easily host multiply servers.. but thats not relevant. The problem is, My network has "DYNAMIC IP", And i cannot let this changed at my provider. If i boot my server up, it sends his IP to game-monitor. Game monitor pings every X min. to my server But after ... days (1.5 to 2 days) my IP autochanges, and if game monitor pings then, it thinks there is no server anymore tough, there is. Trough Quick-Connect is always possible, bcuz i'm using NO-IP. My questions? has anyone an idea how to keep my server 24/7 (without rebooting when my ip changed) into the Game-Monitor server list? Thank you, A LOT. greetings RevengeBE Link to comment

0 RevengeBE
Thats not the problem, I've got my internal ip (192.168.2.103 = ALWAYS, never change) broadcasting with NO-IP Software. Link to comment

0 Callum
So what's the problem if your IP is never changing. Just use your WAN (external) IP to connect, and make sure your router has the correct server and download port forwarded. Link to comment
0 Dark Dragon
the best solution i can think of is dyndns.org but it won't keep your server in the server browser. Link to comment
0 eAi
The only solution to this it to ask your ISP to provide you with a static IP. Or get another ISP. Or buy some hosting and direct its IP to your home computer, but then that kind of defies the point of saving money. Link to comment
