VintProg
Possible use all opcodes from scm, in their own scripts& Link to comment
DiSaMe
No, MTA doesn't use SCM functions at all. And it doesn't need them. It has its own functions. Link to comment
VintProg
For instance possible here do that in main.scm all? Use all functions mta? Link to comment
DiSaMe
With MTA functions you can do almost anything you can do in main.scm. And there's much you can do in MTA, but not in main.scm. Link to comment
VintProg
Yes but where such functions as: Installing the flag of the actor, Adjustment article, actor to put for steering wheel, and machine to went on coordinates, Link to comment
DiSaMe
Yeah, yeah... Where's the function makeTheServerARoleplayServer? Nowhere. But somehow people manage to run roleplay servers. That's what scripting is for. Link to comment
Xierra
Hmm, maybe he meant something that was worked in the GTA SA... Ped flags, in my opinion, are something like: move ped to position, make ped attack a ped or the player, set them to walk or run, etc. Link to comment
MaddDogg
So he is talking about flags, which trigger certain functions within the A.I. of the peds? I don't think that it is possible to use anything from the A.I., but you can always script your own A.I. which checks for certain flags. When a flag "attack" is set to true, a ped just attacks other players/peds.. Link to comment
VintProg
But what do to ped has attacked the player? Link to comment
MaddDogg
Mostly animations and mathematics, I guess. You need to check the positions, states, and so on. But this is a quite difficult topic, if you're not too experienced in scripting in MTA, you should first learn the basics and general stuff. Link to comment
