I just found MTA and I need help.

So I found MTA but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I tried redownloading it and says I need Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 1.0 folder. Please put a set of instructions for me so I will be able to play MTA with the rest of the community.

you need to select the folder you installed gta san andreas to. usually it's C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. if you have a version other than 1.0 you can downgrade to 1.0 using the tool here: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtop ... 04&t=15151

What if I don't have the files at all? Is there a way to download it for free?

well there is, but that would be piracy. so simply buy it, it shouldn't be too expensive nowadays

Because otherwise it's your own fault and I hope you won't get support for a pirated version.
