GTASkunk
Hello guys, I am new to the forum and new to Grand Theft Auto Sanandreas, I recently got the game and installed it but the game lags so bad, the graphics are rubbish. I straight away quitted and went to System Requirement Labs and my game is over recommended. What should I do, or what can I do? GTASkunk Link to comment

SirTerning
Hmmm... First of, Windows Vista is the WORSTH and I say it again WORST operativsystem for games, or basicly everything (Thats what i mean!) Then to the more intresting stuff.. It says that you have 1 GB of ram, and as mostly everybody knows to this date WinVista eats ram. So in short its no wonder that your computer lags in GtaSA. Your processor is ok, so i dont have anything to say to that Oh and it would have been nice if you gave a screenshot of the rating of the different parts of your system (In the tab "Windows Experience Index") Also could you name your graphics card because it can happend that you have old drivers installed, or that your graphics card is to weak. Even my computer lags when it comes to rain and smoke in GTA San Andreas. Link to comment
darkdreamingdan
GTASkunk, your Operating system and CPU are fine. So is the amount of RAM you have. What the vital thing we need to know here is what graphics card you have. It's evident that you're using Windows Vista Basic, which shows perhaps your graphics card does not have the performance for Aero. You can find out what graphics card you have by using: Start -> "dxdiag" in the search bar. Go to the Display tab, and look for the Device Name/Manufacturer/Chip Type. Link to comment
