Problems with downloading resources

Somehow two of our members living in different countries got same problem in same day. They try to join any mta 1.0 server and getting same error on all servers - "Error downloading requestet files. Failed to initialize the download" or "Connection timed out". What could it be? One of them even reinstalled system but still same.

Does this happen to them all the time? Do they have any type of firewalls? Have they port forwarded? And next time please use the search function, there is already an active topic regarding this topic.
