Recommended Operating System Linux for MTA

Hi, which operating system do you recommend for linux server mta? We are using centos and I do not work, and the apt-get does not work.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and the precompiled server works. If you want to have OS just for running MTA Server (and maybe other server apps), then maybe some less "bloated" and less desktop-oriented distribution would be better, though.

Debian 5 32bit, runs smoothly fast & without crashing. also apt-get is debian based.
