lauris3722
Why while playing MTA, my fps doesn't go higher than 36. It kinda suck, cus i can't record video with that fps. I need at least 60fps to do slowmotions without lags. Edited April 26, 2010 by Guest Link to comment
0 Scarface
Is your frame limiter on? Do you get a higher FPS in single player than just 36? Mind you, you wont be getting over 70 in MTA. Link to comment
0 lauris3722
I don't know about frame limiter, cus i can't access to normal options menu. MTA options menu got only resolution. SP i got about 100fps. PC Specs; CPU: AMD Phenom II 965 X4 3.4GHz VGA: HD 4870 1Gb Ram: 4GB DDR II PSU: 700W SILENCE Gaming Edition MB: 785G EDIT: Changed 36 to 100 and everything works fine.. However, thanks. Link to comment
0 Discord Moderators Zango Posted April 27, 2010 Discord Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2010 FPS Limiter is a serverside setting specified in mtaserver.conf to avoid player's gaining an advantage in race gamemodes. Having more FPS also increases the speed at which your vehicle goes. There is for instance a noticeable difference in players having 15 FPS and the ones with 36. 36 is the default FPS limit set on most MTA-Servers. You can increase this to 60 on your local server, open up mtaserver.conf and go to the FPS limitation area. <!-- Specifies the server frames limit. Minimum value: 25, default: 36. --> <fpslimit>60</fpslimit> EDIT: Didn't see your edit lol. Link to comment
0 djlobo
Acess on single player, and on video settings put your visual FX to low, then quit the game in order to save on gta settings, try to connect now on MTA, you can avoid this downloading MTA 1.0.4 untested 22 wich allows already to set the visual FX on options. If you also use windowed mode (can be chose on MTA options) it will give extra 15+ fps. Link to comment
