help needed

Because it is not very specific where i`m supposed to ask certain questions, iv`e decided to post here, sorry if its a pain in the ass.

I`m having trouble getting my aim to lock on, i don`t get the 3 little green arrows over my target!! is this normal for online play or is there any way i can fix it? also if i crouch then aim, it takes me out of crouch mode. Again is this normal??

Id be very grateful if someone could help

auto aim has been disabled in mta for obvious reasons. please explain the crouch problem a bit further. what exactly do you do?

well when i crouch then aim while crouched it makes me stand up as soon as i hit the aim button

I'm unable to reproduce your problem, did you accidentally bind another control to mouse 2? please check settings -> binds, bear in mind that there are quite a few controls which cancel crouching, such as jump and sprint

What are these reasons? Because it's somehow more entertaining to run in circles around your target swinging at the air? Do any of these reasons also apply to why it seems to take 10-20 shots from a sniper rifle (which is a weapon intended by all logic to be a one hit kill otherwise they would be fully automatic) to drop a target? Is there any way to enable it on a server?

I think the sniper precision varies, it usually only takes me 3 shots to waste someone with the sniper, when they're not miles gone.

you can script your own auto aim if you want

That doesn't tell me why, but any clue how to script it to work again? The idea seems self defeating tho if there's another script or bit of code that will just turn it right back off. Is the is turning it off in the first place controlled by a script? Either way do ya think you could set it up so that you can use the mouse to aim with guns like you do with the sniper and the rockets?
