Mta may not start...

Hey guys...

I´ve a problem. some weeks ago mta 1.0.3 worked perfectly... but until then i didnt used it anymore... Today i just wanted to create a new map but my mta dont start. The loading screen comes... "stop playing with yourself..blabla" then it disapear and nothing happens...

I hope you can help me...

Try deleting the "gta_sa.set" file in your "Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files" folder but note that this will reset all your settings so you probably need to re-configure controls etc.

I´ve alreadey tryed it... but the same problem...

yes... but nothing helps...

You could also try to do a clean GTA install. Maybe some mods or other stuff are causing this issue.

Btw does the single player work fine?

yes the single player works fine... but.. I actually just want to use the mta editor... so i just tried oou the mta race version... i´ve installed only the map editor... but the same problem..

Try going to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> "Advanced" tab -> under Performance, press "Settings..." -> "Data Execution Prevention" tab -> make sure it is set to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only", press OK twice, restart your computer, and try launching MTA again.
