Web Admin Authentication issues

Well im having a problem with my web admin panel. I keep trying to get is password protected so when i type in the ip and port it asks for a user and password. so anyone can just type it and get in my admin panel. Someone could help me figure out how to fix this would be great . Thanks all!!

i think you messed up the ACL file.

i have

only in Admin group, and only Admins can login into wedadmin.

or maybe you have modified webadmin?

i just tested it on my server, works ok

Ah, varez, that means the webadmin has admin privileges, not that you require admin to access it. That would be listed in the actual ACLs and not the user groups.

Well i mean i have the in the ACL under admin only. The first time i went to use my web admin it asked for the pass and worked but since i logged in that one time, i can go to any computer anywhere and login but it dont ask for the pass anymore.
