Map Editor : Tips and objects?

Hey all,

I recently started to use the MTA Editor and constantly struggling to find any decent objects. The few I find I end up using over and over on multiple maps, this isnt that bad but considering all my maps are RP based stuff has to look good :D. My maps so far :

https://www.youtube.com/user/jwallacevid ... 0Yl3qfWeCE - Hobby Shop

https://www.youtube.com/user/jwallacevid ... d83rNndIDo - City Race Course

As you can see I'm still quite a beginner, I like the Race Course but my shops are all practically identical on the exterior and interior walls. Basically I'm curious if anyone else knows some good objects for exterior/interior buildings? My main issues are always walls, making the wall/floor inside visually pleasing, fitting windows in (my current walls dont really allow for it that much). Hopefully a few people know some pretty little objects for my shops :D Any help would be appreciated.

Edit : Just one more thing :D None of the lights I use ever seem to actually light up an area, day/night they just remain off. Anyway of fixing that?

Hmm, it's only for some lights.

If you take an object with a light on it, should light up!

For interiors, you can take an interior object. It is looking nice, but empty. You can do anything you want inside.

But, interiors have no doors, so you have to make a teleport (marker or command) to go there. You can also map inside an interior too!

Good luck mate. Do your best. I also liked your burnrubber map.

I followed your advice and it seems to be working out much better, currently mapping a small hotel, will see how that goes :D

Another small issue, Last couple of days I seem to be having issues with MTA loading stuff up. I can load my map fine, test etc but the textures of the game seem glitchly. Like I am able to see a very bad graphic road, if I zoom out, spin around etc eventually it will load the actual top layered texture. This is making things very hard to line up correctly, I have no idea whats causing it. Any ideas?
