Guest Posted August 9, 2003 Posted August 9, 2003 Can anyone tell me how to change my settings for MTA and VC to other OP like win2k or xp, cause anytime my friend tried to join my server he always gets disconnected (he has a router also) Thanks
Guest Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 Alright then since no one seems to know can anyone tell me why anytime someone i know tried to connect to my server or play on someone elses server with me they get dissconnected every 5 seconds (Note i have wink 2k pro and they have Win ME)
raiden Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 Windows ME is the problem. MTA runs best on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. There have been a lot of problems reported with Windows 98 and Windows ME.

SteadVéx Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 in order to get the compatiabilty tab thingy in 2k type in this command in the run dialog on the start menu "regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll" you should then see a message saying "DllRegisterServer in C:\\apppatch\slayerui.dll succeeded" click Ok, then check the properties ofa short cut and the compatibility tab should now be displayed
