SoleX
Hi, I failed to get the Cent OS 5 dedicated server to compile(due to some errors or lack of knowledge on my part), so I used the precompiled generic binary from linux.mtaserver.com . The error I'm getting is that it can't find libpme.so.0, I can't find anywhere to download this library so I'm kind of stuck. Anyone who has a working precompiled Cent OS 5 or knows how to get MTA 1.0 server working on Cent OS please help. Thanks, Solex Link to comment

SoleX
Hey, Thanks for that, just testing it out, will tell you if it works for me. EDIT: The library you provided is a 64 bit version, you will want to provide both x86 and x64 bit I think, otherwise the CentOS x86 users will encounter this error that I'm encountering: libpme.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 Regards, ~Solex Link to comment

SoleX
Confirmed as working on Cent OS 5 32 bit : ) Thanks for all your help Link to comment
MTA Team Blokker_1999 Posted September 6, 2009 MTA Team Share Posted September 6, 2009 Well, it doesn't work. The centos package was based upon the generic package that uses the bins from the deb4 compile and the deb4 compile has an error in it. So i'll have to redo those Link to comment

Fantom01
So I got farther than I have before.. Then I got this error: "libehs.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". Going to search for it. Will post results.. Link to comment
Fantom01
The file does exist.. So I thought maybe I have to make a link to it like the other one. Messed that up, looks like I set the file in a loop.. "libehs.so.0: cannot open shared object file: Too many levels of symbolic links ERROR: Loading mod (/home/somedir/mtav1/opt/mta-server/mods/deathmatch/deathmatch.so) failed! Press Q to shut down the server!" The error loading part was there last night I just forgot to post it.. Any help would be greatly appreciated Link to comment
