0 Phat Looser
There is two possibilities to solve this problem. If the "resourcecache" folder of the server does not contain all the gamemodes the server provides, the response of the server to a request is an empty file. So, he should have a look at the resourcecache. Another possibility is that his MTA http server simply FAILS (well, thats something I am used to, because - experience). If that happens, he should mirror his resourcecache files on a http server, so you can access the files "with your browser", so to say. What he should NOT forget is the slash at the end of the "external http server" setting, so "www.flamer.resources.com" should be "www.flamer.resources.com/". I hope that helps, if not, kill the MTA crew, film it, cut a movie and put it on youtube. Doesn't help, though, but senseless mayhem is always funny to watch. Link to comment
0 Salem
O really? So what 'resourcecache' folder does? J've noticed this folder loads automatically while loading resources and starting server, doesnt he? If not, have J always look what he conteins? It's quite nonsence. Don't understand this. 0 eAi
You really have to stop using J instead of I, it's really annoying. Don't touch resourcecache - it's not intended to be changed by anyone - the server just uses it to store files extracted from zip files so it doesn't have to extract them again. At most, delete all the files in it and let the server regenerate them, but this shouldn't make any difference to anything. Link to comment
