2 Major Issues

Hello. I'm from Estonia so I doubt I can speak English that good, but here we go:

I installed GTA: SA 1.0, applied the NoCD/DVD crack and also installed MTA: SA 1.0. No MTA: RACE or MTA: DM DP 2.3. Also I don't have any mods or custom made stuff like resolutions and etc. My resolution is set to 1280*1024 pixels and 32-bit thingy. Well, everything is set on maximum. Now here are the funny things I have:

1) Random crashes and random freezes:

I always play in the server called Valhalla Gaming RP. Sometimes I suddenly crash to desktop at any time or the game just freezes. I can't open Task Manager or Alt+Tab to desktop. I have to restart my PC.

2) Now I always crash to desktop after this picture.

I have the latest DirectX installed and the latest nVidia GeForce 9600GT drivers installed. Installed both of them just about 10 minutes ago.

Like I said:

No mods.

No custom content. Only GTA: SA 1.0 and MTA:SA 1.0

EDIT: Maybe because I installed MTA in GTA San Andreas directory?

EDIT (2): After reinstalling MTA, the issue remains the same.

Do you have the latest VS 2008 SP1 Redistributables. I'm also assuming from your post you have the March 2009 DirectX redistributables?

Yes. that VS 2008 SP 1 thingy got installed during MTA: SA 1.0 insallation and I also updated my DirectX redistributables to March 2009 version.

if the issue is the same in singleplayer I'd recommend reinstalling gta

Or before reinstalling, try to remove your gta_sa.set file (located in My documents\GTA San Andreas User Files), then start gtasa again. If it starts and works, MTASA should work as well.

Got it. The problem is that I didn't tick the GTA San Andreas Audio Files box during the game installation when I choosed 'Custom' option.

Now 1 issue left: Random crashes/freezes.

try another server and check if its same to them, many people have problems with fps drops, crashes and freezes on valhalla due to their really advanced and big scripts
