krgunner Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Hey , i was just browsing youtube when i came across from the MTAQA i was wondering how is this done Thanks GuNNeR
Gamesnert Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 For as far as I know, they used this function: attachObjectToBone or getPedBonePosition (because a vehicle isn't an object, I think this one) Either way, you can't do it in DP2. For as far as I know however, it DOES work in the nightlies.
drifterCZ Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 sorry, but func. attachObjectToBone doesnt exist... how did they do this? its probably not timer with setting an position due to pos. of bones, so how to do that? thanks for reply
50p Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 It doesn't use timers, it used onClientPreRender or onClientRender. I still have the client-side file (somewhere) off public beta-test.

50p Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 getElementPosition? Here is the file: http://pastebin.com/f1d144da2 It may not work because there have been lots of changes since the last public test.

Gamesnert Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I have the entire resource, got it on IRC once. You can have it. Seems to work fine. Also includes a small script to (easily) spawn them transformers, for some extra fun.
