I have two PCs in LAN, when one connects to a Server in Serverlist, is OK, but when the other PC connects to the SAME sever, in the first says : "Network Problem"... It means,, only one PC with the same IP in the server.... so we can't play in the same server. Please help... Edited December 2, 2008 by Guest Link to comment
robhol Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 Your computers do not have the same IP (inside the LAN. to the internet, they do.) Edit: bleh, wasn't thinking. Here's what you do. Get the IP of the server machine (run the command IPCONFIG) and put that IP into the Quick conenct-box of the client. Link to comment

They have to be for most lan games to work. meaning that they should have the same first 3 parts of the ip address. ex: 192.168.100.??? then replace the question marks with what ever you want. They should also be hooked up to the type of connection, wired or wireless. Also you may have a highly secured router, so forward the ports your server uses to the client.
