Guest Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Hi guys! I have tree questions. 1. I tried earlier to create a server. When i put my local ip (192.168.2.11) in mtaserver.conf and i try to connect with quick connect it works. But when i put in my IP that i take from the website (whatismyip.org) and i try to connect it doesnt work. I can read, could not bind the server interface... What do i do wrong? 2. I want to know too which files do i need to put for downloading to be able to play on the server. 3. I would like to know which port should I use for hosting. Thanks a lot for helping me!
50p Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 1. If the server is hosted on your PC, you can use your local IP to connect to the server. If your server is hosted somewhere else then you have to use its IP. 2. ? 3. You can use whichever you like (default is 22004). - MTA Script Editor - Ask your scripting questions properly, please. - 50p's public resources - Meta.xml - what is it for? How is it possible LOL
Guest Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 well that's a part of my problem, because i hosted the server on my computer but my friends want to connect on my server and the question 2 I was asking this because when I join the server the server said that I couldnt download files.
