I just heard about this MTA map editor, where can I find it on my PC??

the DM-version isn't released yet. if you install mta race 1.1.1 you'll find a map editor, it works well to place items, you can convert the file with this converter for example. of course you can place small items to get coordinates for player spawns or pickups.

if you have windows vista you can use the alternative_editor and the object browser by mr hankey. as the name says its just alternative (to the map editor of mta) and makes mapping a bit more difficult, but still loads easier than using trial and error or some text-editor
