Headshot Script

Hey all,

I needs some help here.

I am trying to edit the headshot script so when a player gets a headshot it shows a caption saying "Headshot!!" in the middle of the screen in biggish writing.

Now being i know sod all about scripting i was wondering if you could give me some pointers please

Thanks for that but apart from it saying they may be outdated they made no sense whatsoever.

I just quickly scrolled through the tutorial and I noticed only one change. In the tutorial setTimer and addEventHandler uses string to call a function, but now we can use functions itself, so that's the only difference I've noticed. You can try it. If it won't work, don't look at tutorials which say might be outdated, because you may not know what's different in older version and the newest (currently dp2) version.

Tbh none of it makes any sense to me. Like i said i know nothing about scripting whatsoever.

Thanks anyway, I'll just leave it till i have time to learn more about this scripting stuff.

If you really want to script, learning wouldn't be difficult especially if you already know some programming language.

Start off with a very basic script, then add more things to it. Take existing code and change it and see what happens. Make mistakes and learn from them, and eventually you'll get better.
