Jayster Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Okay, I've just bought GTAVC off of Steam. I downloaded MTAVC, and it says I must downgrade/upgrade to version GTAVC 1.0. Could someone send me the download link to this GTAVC 1.0? Thanks in advance.
Guest Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 hey jayster ... me and a few other people are having the same problem ... anyone who bought vice city within the last year can't play any MTA version as they're not compatible and every downgrade patch available is again incompatible to the new gta-vc.exe, also replacing the exe with a no-cd-, a blood-patched or any other version apperemtly doesn't work as the cd/dvd will then bitch around for you to "insert the original game cd/dvd" >> it seems that the vc version they're selling now is not 1.0 nor 1.1 and there is no way (YET) to downgrade it ... (!)

[FMJ]ParadoX Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Must be steams fault though, cause I purchased one, brand spanking new, because I sat on my old disks just after reformatting. Mine works fine, must be an issue with steam.
