Ford Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Hi! There goes another problem: game shuts down after splash screen.. Well It doesn't matter I run GTA: SA, or MTA. After splash screen disappears I see my desktop. I tried reinstall, removing gta_sa.set file, applying no-cd.. I have no mods installed. I have no idea what could cause the problem because 3 days ago it worked fine. Antivirus program: NOD32 but I tried to close it. My computer: Pentium D 2,66GHz, 1GB RAM, Galaxy Geforce 7600GS not overlocked. Please help

skybon Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Maybe you have inadequate OS privelegies (this may be caused by a virus). Try playing online some PunkBuster-using game. Also I think, this is first priority problem and it needs to be fixed in the next release (this is to MTA team)
Ford Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Well, I don't have any problems with playing COD4 online (PB req). I don't have any viruses, I've scanned HDD by NOD32 and some other software.
Ford Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 After uninstalling GTA and MTA, and installing GTA everything works great, so it's 100% MTA fault.
