Guest Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Hello there, When I'm installing, I fill in my username and password, and then I get the message: "Your computer is already associated with another account. Please login using the account that was already registered." I don't know what I have to fill in then. When I register me again on the site, with a different username, and I use that to login while installing, it gives the same error message:S can anybody help me?
CriticalXED Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think MTA doesn't want u to make multiple accounts(like spam with accounts). You should login to the other account... Or when u cant... then idk..
Guest Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I can't login with any account, You say that mta people don't want to make more accounts than one, but mta gave this error message the first time I tried to login. I've reinstalled gta and mta but that didn't matter. can someone else maybe help me?

Guest Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 right guys heres what my problem was and how i sorted it basically i have two machines at home: pc and laptop. i installed it one night on the laptop first n regged an account. no problem with teh installation./ however the day after when i tried to install it on my PC it told me the computer is associated with another account. bad news- my little brothers been playin around n regged himself too. here is how i sorted it: 1) open regedit from the run dialog 2) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Multi theft auto: San andreas (note ur mod has to be installed!!!!) 3) i changed the Serial value on the PC with the serial value from the laptop and the username as my own then it ran fine like a charm if however u dont know ur serial, i cant really help you sorry. just for reference there are 4 string values in that folder- (Default)- where mta is installed; GTA:SA - target gta installation; serial and username. they are all STRING values.

This is my first and only account. I've also played MTA:Race before but does it have to do anything with this?
