Braddock
Ok here are the instructions. 1. Goto a computer store, hell a thrift store, Vicy City runs on anything. 2. Buy a real computer. 3. Using the Game Disk, Install Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. 4. Install MTA. 5. Donate Macintrash to retirement home/safe injection center/communist party/Municipal Landfill. 6. Play MTA. But still does anyone know if there is an MTA for Mac OSX? I could build MTA but not in C... don't know where to begin, i'm an realbasic developer.. To answer your question, even though this is a very old topic, it has become relevant to the current situations in MTA given that GTA III, VC, and SA have been released on the Mac OS X platform, and right now, the answer about MTA running on it too is a no. Unfortunately no one wants to develop it for that platform because of a lack of Developers all the way around, and it would require some extensive porting for all the MTA's, as well as figuring out all the memory addresses all over again, which is a similar reason why the Steam versions of GTA games aren't compatible with MTA either. Don't let this get you down though! It's still possible through emulation, and there's still hope that one day people can do this. I honestly would love to see every version of GTA supported in every version of MTA some day, but obviously it's just a dream right now. Link to comment
Towncivilian
Ultimately, it's easier to acquire a copy of Windows XP or above and use Bootcamp to play MTA. Thus, I'm positive there won't be a port of MTA for OS X any time in the near future, if at all. Link to comment
