can't start server

1. is a server free.(i think, because i got 1)

2. i can't start my server, it says server successfully started on port 22003 and some other shit. but i enter my ip + port :22003 and i got connection timed out..

3. where do i upload maps for it

you see, im a beginner and mta centre is offline. so i need some help.

Questions Answered:

1) Yes, its totally free

2) What IP address are you using? - try 127.0.0.1:22003!

3) There should be a maps folder somehwere within the servers sub-directroys, probally something like: SERVER_ROOT\race\maps

Put them in there.

If this is hosted from your home, you wont be able to see it in the server list... also if you wanted other people to join you would have to foward port 22003 and 22003+123 on your router (both UDP i beleve), thats if you have a router ofc

Yo lukas, there's a mtaserver.conf file in this location

C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\server\mods\race

open it up with notepad (kladblok )

Then look for these lines, near the end...

And change it

****** is your password obviously

That should give u admin. If the server doesnt show in the list ur ports arent configured properly. Make sure port 22126 is opened up in ur routersetup. 22003 should be open as well if u want other people to be able to join ur server

U can ALWAYS connect to your own server by doing quickconnect and instead of an ip u type localhost

Anywayz u can still check wether other people can see it by going to http://www.game-monitor.com and see if it shows there.

mine MTA Servers are hosted on my own Servers.

This servers are runned by an router.

So you have to open this ports in firewall and router

22003

44003

22126

And check if you have 2 firewalls if the server does not came up in the server browser look if you have an second firewall installed put that off see if it works or shut them both of and look what it does
