i got the cd but i try to open it and nothing

I'm guessing you have MTA installed with the DVD in the drive and when you run it nothing happens? If not, post what it is, but the possible problem here is that you might have a 2.00 copy of the game. Check this topic out for downgrading: http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=15151
